The Prima Music Foundation returns to Ventfort Hall with its Summer Concert Series! Featuring George W. Michael (saxophone & clarinet), Michael Shirtz (piano & vocals), and special guest artist Adam Coté, this opening event of the 2026 Prima Music Festival - Jazz Extravaganza - celebrates the Great American Songbook with music by Gershwin, Porter, Berlin, and more.

The concert will also feature the Prima Music Foundation Young Scholar, Artois Sancho. Join us for an unforgettable evening of jazz, timeless classics, and outstanding artistry.

Prima Music International Concerto Competition 2026

We are excited to announce the finalists of the 2026 Prima Music Foundation International Concerto Competition!

Five outstanding young pianists, ages 10–18, have been selected to advance to the Final Round, which will take place on Monday, June 29, at 2:00 PM at Berkshire Music School in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

The Awards Ceremony will follow at 5:00 PM. Admission is free and the public is warmly invited to attend and support these exceptional young artists!
