Maestro Alessandro Marano is an Italian pianist acclaimed for his expressive artistry and devotion to the classical repertoire. A pupil of Edith Fischer, Paul Badura-Skoda, Aldo Ciccolini, and Bruno Canino, he has performed across Europe and the Americas, appearing with orchestras such as the Sanremo Symphony and the Sibiu Philharmonic. A champion of rare Liszt and Beethoven’s concertos in Lachner’s version, Marano is Artistic Director of the Cosenza Symphony and its International Piano Festival, and President of the Franz Liszt Piano Society. He teaches at the “F. Torrefranca” Conservatory in Vibo Valentia.
